Bethesda United Methodist Church's annual fund raising event is called the Lord's Acre.  It is held on the 1st Saturday in October.  This day is filled with activities planned to raise funds to further Bethesda's mission.  Activities consist of a lunch, country store, silent auction, and the culminating event of the day, the live auction.

 

A special "Thank You" to everyone who volunteered, participated, and worked to make Lord's acre 2010 a very successful event.  Also a "Thank You" to other members of the community who donated items or participated in the event.  Over $22,00 was raised and the money will be used as follows:

 

• 10% will be split among the Mineral Wells Helping Hands organization and Imagine No Malaria.

 

• The balance of the money will go toward improving our playground.
